Refining Copper and Silver Will Save Your Acid One Day #reuse #acid #silver

After three long months of experimenting I found an economical way to refine #silverplated silverware along with other alloy metals in one system. By refining your silver and copper together electrochemically, you are able to reuse most of your acid solutions and when the time comes you can even get 80 to 85 percent of your original acid back.

The method used to refine both silver and copper is #electroplating inside of an aspirator cell. The #copper, if refined to 99.9% pure copper, while removing base metals, and collecting the silver. The silver cell is then used to further refine the copper cell slimes. The silver cell is also capable of refining 925 sterling #silver directly to 999 silver. Also described in this video is the process of converting your used silver nitrate solutions back into copper sulfate, which can be used in the copper cells. I also explain how to recover 80 to 85 percent of your nitric #acid which lowers your operating costs and increases your yield.
