EFF leader Julius Malema says he had a meeting with ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa ahead of the first sitting of parliament on Friday. Malema said he asked the president for the speaker position in parliament, and in return, the EFF voted for the ANC for president position. Malema says the party is not against a government of national unity; however, it should exclude the DA and FF+.
