A passionate plea for courage and kindness, where the power of a generous thought or deed can have a major impact on a loved one or stranger. Jo began her working life as a nurse before training to become a teacher. She absolutely adores her job and for nearly three decades, she has delighted in the privilege of working with wonderful, primary-aged children, their families, staff and volunteers. Jo believes that to be involved in education is a gift unmatched; it is an honour and a joy to watch a child transform into the citizen that they are going to become.
