We welcome the State Government's commitment to introducing Gayle's law. We must however be certain that this law covers both State operated and independent / federally funded health providers and is actively enforced. We will also continue to campaign for this law to be implemented across Australia and for further action on nursing and midwifery safety in all settings. All nurses and midwives, no matter where they work, have the right to be safe."
