Exciting news out of Wichita this morning, as @textronaviation announced it is adding @garminaviation ‘s Emergency Autoland system to the #beechcraft Denali single-engine turboprop.
Autoland — which allows the aircraft to land automatically with the push of a button in the event of pilot incapacitation — will be available as a standard feature upon the Denali’s entry into service, which is now slated for 2025.
Textron also provided updates on the flight test program and certification, and GE Aerospace shared that the Catalyst engine for the #denali is nearly three-quarters of the way through its test plan — with certification now expected in late 2024.
