In this video, we look at 5 licks from the brilliant pianist Bill Evans, all of which are taken from his iconic solo on Autumn Leaves, on his album Portrait in Jazz. We start by analysing the lick first, and then build it in a different key ready for you to transpose in your own practice. We talk numerically through the licks, so it's easy for all instrumentalists to understand.
