From 1997 till 2006 (The Wessel van Diepen years), I used to listen to 538 Dance Departement on a weekly basis. I immediately started to record the weekly broadcasts. First on analogue TDK tape, followed within a couple of months by digital minidisc. I still own my collection of 538 Dance Department minidisc recordings from the very beginning and have recently decided to transfer the best sets to my pc which enables me to upload them to this channel. All recordings are free of commercial breaks. Therefore the transitions between two tracks (before and after the commercial) may sound less smoothly.
I'm certain there are still a lot of people out there that would like to listen again to these classic sets. So here is your chance to enjoy some of the best sets during the early years of house music. What we're gonna do right here is go back: Revisit 538 Dance Department!
