I am super excited to see Godzilla: King of the Monsters opening night! This will be the first Godzilla film to feature a version of the classic Blue Oyster Cult song bearing his name (the exclusion of which from Tristar's version prompted the band to release a diss track mocking the movie's instantly dated soundtrack and notoriously obnoxious marketing campaign).
I've gotten requests to cover this song before but was a little reluctant because I didn't think I could do it justice. This time I went ahead and did it anyway; I'll let y'all be the judge!
