Having run the Dual Destiny mission quite a lot during the double loot period I ended up getting a roll with Spirit of Renewal and Spirit of the Cyrtarachne, a rather unique combo that stacks 2 of the most potent damage resistance verbs in the game, these being Woven Mail and Frost Armor. This specific class item allows you to gain BOTH Woven Mail (45% DR) and Frost Armor (22.% DR) by simply throwing and standing in your Duskfield Grenade. Taking things even further, if you equip the Shadowshot Deadfall super as well as the Facet of Purpose fragment you also get a Void Overshield every time you pick up an orb of power, another 50% damage resist. If you combine all of these aspects with Buried Bloodline for an independent source of Devour, every kill you get gets you full-healed, you regenerate your Duskfield Grenade very fast which then feeds into more Woven Mail and more Frost Armor. The loop of the build basically revolves around generating orbs to feed our Grenade and then spam our other abilities to keep it maintained. You generate your Transcendence energy pretty quickly too, and as a bonus whenever you throw your Transcendence Grenade you also gain Woven Mail. I really hope you enjoy this build and consider giving it a try, since even without the special class item, regular Renewal Grasps should also suit this playstyle well. Anyway, please enjoy!
