BMW Motorrad India has launched two of its adventure bikes, the BMW F 750 GS and the BMW F 850 GS at the 2018 Auto Expo in Greater Noida. Here are the live images of the two motorcycles from the show.

BMW has built the two bikes on steel bridge frame in monocoque construction for increased riding precision. The design of the two motorcycle is also new and more muscular. BMW has placed the fuel tank in a traditional layout, between the seat bench and the steering head, for optimised packaging and an improved centre of gravity. LED headlight is optional.

The bikes get 853cc in-line twin cylinder engines with a 270-degree firing order and two counterbalancer shafts. The engines pair with a 6-speed transmission with an anti-hopping clutch. The motorcycle also features ‘Rain’ and ‘Road’ riding modes, and cruise control is standard. Brakes on both motorcycles include 305 mm dual discs at the front and a single rear 365 mm disc, both with disengagable ABS. The two motorcycles feature original BMW Motorrad Main Stand as standard
The powerplant of the BMW F 850 GS makes 95 PS at 8,250 rpm, and 92 Nm at 6,250 rpm. The claimed maximum speed is over 200 kmph. The bike rides on 43 mm upside-down front fork, and an adjustable rear monoshock. The front suspension is capable of 204 mm of travel, while the rear can travel up to 219 mm.

The motorcycle features 21-inch front, and a 17 inch rear spoke wheels. 90-section front and 150-section rear knobby tyres wrap the wheels. The F 850 GS weighs 229 kg, wet; and the seat is 860 mm high.

Highlights of the optional equipment for the two motorcycles include DTC Dynamic traction control, ABS Pro, Gear shift assistant Pro, eCall, and Connectivity. The BMW F 750 GS costs INR 12,20,000, and the BMW F 850 GS will set you back by INR 13,70,000. Both prices ex-showroom, and they enter the market as Completely Built-up Units (CBU). Bookings at BMW Motorrad dealerships have commenced, and deliveries will begin from May 2018 onwards.
