Managing a monthly budget especially while traveling can be difficult, how we budget in retirement is to minimize the amount of bills we pay. We now only have 2 monthly bills, that include our rent and internet these are paid automatically so we don’t have to think about paying them.

Online banking has been great for us, so we can transfer funds from different accounts and even different banks. We pay what would be smaller bills like car and home insurance annually, this saves us monthly fees for making monthly payments so saves us money and reduces the stress of paying them on time.
