Uterus didelphys is a uterine malformation where there are two separate halves of a uterus, each with one cervix. Essentially, the women have double uteruses and double cervices, essentially 2 of each components.
Recurrent early miscarriage due to uterus didelphys results from insufficient uterine blood flow to the embryo because it has more connective tissues than muscle tissues which leads to poor uterine blood supply, adversely affecting the growth and development of the embryo during pregnancy. If left untreated, it can potentially lead to an early miscarriage or embryonic demise within the first trimester.

Note: Miscarriage and induced abortion may cause the development of anti-embryonic antibodies that will lead to recurrent early miscarriage.
