What is a fella to do when his Warmoth Jazzmaster build isn't quite right and needs a bit of fine tuning? Well, this fella tore it all apart, scrapped the electronics, then un-scrapped them and finally assembled a pretty outstanding guitar.
In this video I take you through the why of it all and a tear down, looking at the guts of my JM build. This parts guitar was fashioned from a Warmoth Jazzmaster body with a beautiful blue burst and a reversed headstock roasted maple neck. It has a Mastery Bridge and Sunday Handwound Pickups Woodie Set along with the fine assortment of Schaller tuners and fancy pots and switches.
Once this guitar is fashioned with a new neck I take you on a stereo Chorus test ride using the Schu-Tone Stereo Chorus into a Trinity Amps 18 Watt on one side and a Mesa Boogie TA-30 on the other. This was my first interaction with a baritone guitar and filmed the whole improv and edited down to the fair bits.
After my first attempt to have a baritone it was clear I needed to learn a thing or two and had to make some corrections.
Second attempt and play through is with my modded PedalPCB.com Cannon Fodder MKI into the Trinity amps 18 Watt.
I hope you guys this video, I know it is a bit longer but there is a lot to cover!
