In this video you will witness one of my endurance sessions with an elite boxer who is preparing for competition. For this reason, now is not the time to do long-term work. We have to emulate the fatigue experienced in a boxing match. This workout is as much physiological as it is psychological. We want to not only build endurance but we also want to increase psychological preparation for when the fatigue sets in. Boxing is a dramatic sport, full of unpredictable events. Full of ups and downs. When preparing for a boxing match, we cannot train in a linear and predictable fashion.
