Practicing the last two steps is A MUST for infielders❕❕
⚡️ TIMING is key to make sure we are getting in our optimal fielding position. Late = ball gets in on us. Early = flow interrupted, perhaps field on a tough hop
⚡️Last two steps are RIGHT then LEFT. Left is last because we want our momentum going to 1B which is to our left
⚡️ Present the glove when the right foot hits to ensure the glove is not late. You want to invite the ball into the glove, not surprised and try to trap the ball. It’s not a mouse 🐁
⚡️ Secure the short hop two hands. You can work in funneling, but this main is working getting reps with timing
⚡️ LEFT FOOT rock step
Using my ZOIDS from @sklz as the markers for my steps. Using my EAGLE KK from @valletraininggloves as a pancake glove. You’ll see on the last hop I take, I am able to field the ball with one hand. That makes this training glove much more versatile than other pancake gloves 🧤
