It's VERY WORTH IT to take a weekend trip from Tbilisi to Kazbegi. It's just a three-hour "marshrutka" ride away and all of a sudden you're in a picturesque landscape reminiscent of New Zealand or Austria. Upon arriving, we still had enough time to check out the amazing Pansheti mineral pool situated in the middle of the mountains of Stepantsminda. So beautiful!
