Live-cell super-resolution microscopy reveals differences in the actin organisation and dynamics between cells of the immortalised T-cell Jurkat line and primary mouse and human T-cells at comparable activation conditions. This challenges the convention that these cells lines can be used interchangeably to examine synaptic actin characteristics. This movie shows representative TIRF-SIM images of live mouse CD4+ T-cells expressing Lifeact-GFP (first clip) and live Jurkat CD4+ T-cells expressing Lifeact-citrine (second clip).
