We think we found the best Udon in Tokyo. It's called Kirimugiya Jinroku & it has the most lively, chewy, bouncy, intoxicating Udon we've ever had, paired with a delicately balanced mentsuyu consisting of a burst of flavours from various bonito flakes, shoyu, jellied shellfish broth, grated ginger & crunchy Negi!
Bonus point comes in the form of their signature Oyakoten, where your udon is served with a side of Kashiwaten (Chicken Filet Tempura) & Hantamaten (Soft Boiled Egg Tempura) & holy moly...IT IS GOOD! In fact it's so good we visited Jinroku multiple times after we filmed them...Yeah, no joke, we're serious!
