Well Said has invited Dr. Simona Proteasa, and academic neurologist specialized in epilepsy; Daniel Hopper, a photographer and person with epilepsy; as well as Patrick Tierney and Justin Esposito, fourth year medical students and organizers of the upcoming “Spark of Creativity – An exploration of visual art and epilepsy” event. Our panel will be discussing how patients use art to express and cope with their illness experience and how seizures themselves can be the driving force behind artistic creation.
