Brandon Lee and David Carradine comment on the release of Kung Fu: The Movie (1986). In his acting debut, Brandon Lee, son of legendary martial arts cinema star Bruce Lee, plays the son of David Carradine's character in “Kung Fu: The Movie” (1986 TV movie). Bruce Lee was considered for the lead role in the original Kung Fu TV series (1972-75), but Carradine was cast instead. David Carradine comments on the quality of the original Kung Fu show and expresses interest in reviving the series.
“Kung Fu: The Movie” was intended as a pilot for a sequel to the original Kung Fu series. Eventually there was a sequel series lasting four seasons, 1993-96, but it was not a result of the film.
Brandon Lee died in 1993 at age 28 after being accidentally wounded by a shot from a prop gun while filming on a movie set. 🅲🅲 [ Ссылка ]
