In 1954, Rolex released the GMT Master, a special pilot's watch designed specifically with Pan-Am airline pilots in mind. In 2019, Rolex paid tribute to the very earliest Pan-Am GMT-Masters with the release of the 126719BLRO with Meteorite Dial in White Gold. Separating itself from the pack through the use of a stunning white meteorite dial, the watch evokes the legendary Albino-dial 6542 GMT-Master, a model long thought to be more myth than reality.

There is no such confusion here, as the 126719BLRO is a fully-fledged member of the Rolex collection and was, up until the release of the white dial Tudor Black Bay GMT earlier this year, the only Pepsi Rolex available with a white dial. Beyond the dial (and the fantastic white gold construction) this is a modern GMT-Master II as we have come to know and love it.

Every current generation GMT-Master II comes equipped with a Rolex automatic caliber 3285, a modern Rolex movement that allows for a power reserve of 70 hours, matched with COSC-certified chronometer precision. Hacking seconds, two independent time zones, and robust anti-magnetic qualities round out the remaining features. Each GMT Master II features a Rolex Oyster case, a Triplock crown, and 100-meter water resistance.
