Graves Field at Rosamond High School hosted the kickoff of a new season on Saturday morning , September 9, 2017. Teams from Apple Valley matched up with teams from Rosamond at all levels.
About 85 kids are divided up into four teams coached by 35 volunteers. President Mike Garret has done that job for five years. On the league web site his message is:
"We are committed to providing an exceptional and rewarding experience for your sons and daughters. We challenge our student athletes to be strong role models by setting and achieving their goals in the classroom, community as well as on and off the field. Furthermore, I encourage all of our parents and community to get involved in our program to continue to make this a successful program we can all enjoy and be proud of."
