Freezing Moment is a brand new talk show which aims to bring light and spread hope to the world in the midst of the crisis caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19). Undoubtedly this marks the beginning of a new era; alternatively an era of fear and despair; or an era of hope and repair. Our actions define the direction of the era. Are we spiraling down, or rising up?
If we choose action over discouragement, and hope over fear, the ”time out” caused by the global freezing moment allows us to revise our strategies and redesign our ways of thinking and working. It encourages us to learn from the past and reconnect with each other. It provides us the needed time to get our actions together and become more compassionate and caring.
In this series, you’ll meet people from all walks of life. The one thing in common with all our guests is that they all embody Sisu, a special arctic attitude of resilience, guts and extraordinary courage which has stopped them from freezing and helped them conquer their fears and obstacles they’ve battled in their own lives.
In this very first episode of our series we’ll welcome three top athletes, from the top of the world in their game, to inspire us to take a look at the world from a different perspective. They will share their freezing moments with you and how did they bounce back from those moments.
Our guests are here to inspire you to take action when the going gets tough and hold on to hope during those times when it seems that there is no light to be seen. They want to remind you that even though the future may look dark and gloomy, there is still light and hope as long as we keep on acting and not letting fear paralyze us.
The top athletes of the show:
Lasse Kukkonen, a true living ice hockey legend from Finland, has played in NHL, KHL, and the Finnish Liiga where he is currently playing at Oulun Kärpät. He’s the World Champion (2011), multiple Olympic medals, and all together 4 Finnish Championships.

She’s been awarded with the Whan Young Dai achievement Award which is aims to enhance the will of people with disabilities to overcome their adversities through the pursuit of excellence in sports and through Paralympic Games. This award is only given to one man and woman athlete during the Paralympic Games.
