J. Faye Dixon, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and MIND Institute. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with 30+ years of experience in clinical work and research in child psychopathology, specifically the areas of depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and learning differences in children. Dr. Dixon is very interested in the use of evidence-based assessment and intervention procedures. She believes in involving families in a shared-decision making process to determine treatment and referral strategies.
