The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the cyclonic storm Yaas is going to intensity into a 'very severe cyclonic storm' in the next 12 hours. "It is very likely to move north-northwestwards, intensify further into a very severe cyclonic storm during next 12 hours. It would continue to move north-northwestwards, intensify further and reach northwest Bay of Bengal near North Odisha and West Bengal coasts by May 26 early morning," the weather dept said. Meanwhile, thousands are being evacuated to shelter homes in Odisha and West Bengal. National & state disaster response teams have been deployed in both states. In West Bengal, officials said at least 20 districts will bear the brunt of the storm. Watch the full video for more.
