My fourth track day at super safe Gingerman Raceway with my 91 Acura NSX, and each time with new minor tweaks. First was the addition of sticky Rival S tires, then the agressive Carbotech brake pad and this time I came with a 0.5 inch suspension drop and a more aggressive wheel alignment.
I am came into this event with some well worn tires and this limited me from improving on my previous best of 1:49 for the first 4 sessions. The car felt real loose at the rear upon turn making it real difficult to push it.
In the fifth session of the day I finally found a way to manage the loose rear when I was fixated in following the Porsche Cayman GT4. This ultimately helped me shave almost 2 seconds off my PB. Considering how much I lost every turn trying to manage the slide, I think this car could easily do a 1: 45 at this track with the stock power level
MODS: BF goodrich Rival S , Carbotech Ax6 and 80 pound reduction in weight.
PB: starts at 2:10
