Well pump Installation Part #1 Pitless adapter install We have been putting off the well pump install to long! So this past weekend we got moving on this project. Our well was drilled about a year ago. It's 500 ft total depth and cased to about 390ft. It produces about 2 gal a minute and unlike most wells its artesian meaning it has positive flow out of the top of the well. Some artesian wells are seasonal meaning they only do this during certain times of year but ours has yet to stop.
In this video we cover the install of the Pitless adapter and we roll out the down pipe to hopefully let it relax and be easier to install when we drop the in on the next trip. We did a lot of research on what size pump to install , what down pipe to install , how to wire everything and we want to give a shout out to @H2o Mechanic and @R.C. Worst & Co., Inc. . Both those channels were instrumental in helping us figure out what we needed and how to do it. If your taking on a well pump install as a do it yourself project watch all our videos! And absolutely check them out as well. @H2o Mechanic has one of the best well pump install videos I came across in our research.
