Black Label was founded by DC Comics in 2018 as a way to fill the void left by the ending of the Vertigo Imprint for mature content. Still, it holds many differences from its antecessor: it often features its most famous characters like Batman, something Vertigo always shied away from, it seems to focus more on limited series than in longer runs, and it doesn't attract the same kind of stellar talent that Vertigo did, mainly because Image is serving that purpose quite well today. And yet, over five years, it has churbed out a surprising amount of quality content. These are the stories from Black Label.
