In February I jumped at the chance to take a Vincent Desiderio workshop. Had it been under any other circumstances I would never have been able to travel abroad to take Vincent’s workshop but because of the pandemic I was able to jump at the opportunity to actually participate in one because it became virtual.

It was a great chance to experience a master talking about his ideas and observations on art and the culture of art. There is so much information that I’ve learned that I can’t wait to share it with you.

Here I share Vincent’s demo on a tonal study. Using shellac as a base, we will learn about the optical gray created from Raw Sienna and Titanium White.
