I visited the headquarters of Carmina Shoemaker on the Spanish island of Mallorca, where the same family has been making shoes since the 19th century. They were kind enough to walk me through their unusual, specialized process that enables them to make some of the highest quality, most elegantly lasted shoes on the market.
