On March 1, 2022, The Centre for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Toronto hosted the webinar “Ukraine on Fire: Voices on the Ground” with Andriy Kulykov, Julia Bidenko, Maria Shuvalova, and Maria Zolkina. Four Ukrainians on the ground in Ukraine and Poland: a prominent journalist, two political scientists, and a PhD candidate/activist talked about the situation in Ukraine on the 6th day of war when Russian bombs and missiles heavily hit Kharkiv and air bombardment destroyed Kyiv TV Tower.
