In honor of the Halloween season, I've got something very special for you Suckamaniacs!!!
Every year, my wife and i team up with our buddy Ben Gibson to participate in the Knoxville HorrorFest Grindhouse Grindout. In this contest, teams are assigned a category/genre, and you have 6 days 6 hours and 6 minutes to make a fake trailer about it in the classic shitty/corny/nasty b movie grindhouse style.
This year, we drew "BoardGameSploitation", which dictated that your trailer has to be based on a board game (like Clue or Battleship). Given the grindhouse/horror theme, adapting Operation to horror seemed like a pretty logical choice!
We filmed in one day, and we won the award for "Best Adaptation of Genre"!
I'm really stoked on how this turned out and i think you guys will love it. It was a blast to make it. I also did the soundtrack.
