Run is a 2020 American psychological thriller film directed by Aneesh Chaganty and written by Chaganty and Sev Ohanian. The film stars Kiera Allen as Chloe Sherman, a disabled homeschooled teenager who begins to suspect that her mother Diane (Sarah Paulson) is keeping a dark secret about her upbringing.

Having endured the greatest shock after the birth of a premature daughter who almost died, single mother Diana Sherman surrounded her baby Chloe with constant care and boundless love. Since the birth of her daughter, Diana has devoted her life to caring for her, and over the years she has become completely in control of the life of Chloe, who is confined to a wheelchair. The family lives in complete isolation, Chloe is homeschooled and does not communicate with society. Once locked inside the house, a teenage girl begins to notice something sinister in her mother's behavior, and her overprotectiveness becomes a real obsession. Diana keeps repeating that she needs a daughter, but Chloe becomes more and more suspicious and tries to unravel the secrets of the mother, who is too much in her life.
