Avoiding the Darkness: Patent Eligibility of Biologicals and Biomarkers in the United States
Recently there have been major changes in the law relating to patenting of diagnostic tests and biologics, with major rulings implicating the patentability of diagnostic methods, genetic sequences, and biomarkers. This seminar will summarize the recent court cases and provide strategies for obtaining value from the development of biologics and biomarkers.
