ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WEAR/WPMI) A second inmate has escaped from a Pensacola work release program. This is the second escape in three days.
Michael J. Jones, 54, escaped from Pensacola CRC around 7:50pm on Friday. He is described as a black male around 215 pounds, and 6 feet, 2 inches tall. He has brown eyes, and is bald.
Jones was serving a sentence on a felony driver's license violation charge, and other charges include grand theft, forgery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
Escambia County Deputies are still looking for Johnathan Porter after he escaped from the work release program October 1st.
He escaped from the Department of Corrections work release just before 8:30 Tuesday morning.
The inmate, Jonathan P. Porter was last seen running southbound on North L Street.
He may have been picked up by a female driving a 2012 white Versa 4 door with California plates.
Porter is bald and blue eyed, between 6 -6'2 and 200 pounds wearing a white shirt and khaki pants.
