It took me longer than usual to make this review video, because I kept hitting a very odd firmware bug that kept me from getting the great results I expected from this printer.
And now it performs really amazingly great !
The Tevo Tarantula 3D Printer Kit updated with the Tevo Titan extruder is a very interesting newcomer to the scene.
The Tarantula i3 clone was already a very well regarded 3D printer with a big following on the internet and many fixes, updates, or upgrades available; now with the Titan extruder it's even more interesting.

Pros:
- Good quality materials
- Great manual
- Very solid structure
- Standart electronics
- Comes with 0.4kg filament
- Once correctly set up produces great quality prints
- Best layer bond and surface quality I've had so far
Cons:
- Not for beginners (except if you enjoy a really steep learning curve)
- Mine had small parts missing/wrong size
- Prone to Z-axis vibrations (easy to fix once it's printing)
- Needs new firmware to work
Btw:
The bug I hit in the firmware, was that there was a definition for the Z-axis probe in the firmware connected to the same input pin as the Z-min probe switch. That leads to disaster, if there is no Z-axis probe actually connected, but only the Z-min switch.
