Celera 500L's First Flight Tests Have Successfully Concluded.
The prototype has logged about 51 flight hours across 55 sorties, including flights at speeds exceeding 250 miles per hour and altitudes exceeding 15,000 feet.
The War Zone was the first to report on the existence of this plane, which is easily identifiable by its teardrop shape and pusher-propeller layout.
Otto and his business think that the Celera 500L's design, which maximises the plane's capabilities, will usher in a new era of low-cost air travel. According to the firm's website, this is referred to as the "air taxi model."
"Data from our initial set of test flights indicates that we are on track to meet our aircraft's objectives," William Otto Jr., CEO of Otto Aviation, said.
