Alan Alda's play Radiance depicts the difficult life and groundbreaking work of two-time Nobel Prize-winner Marie Curie. At the 2016 World Science Festival, Alda described how Curie's determination in the face of obstacles inspired him to go on when his own work seemed impossible.
