More companies are interested in hiring from the veteran talent pool, says Ross Dickman, COO of Hire Heroes USA.

WorkingNation sat down with Dickman in Atlanta at the Warrior Community Integration Symposium – an annual convening of veteran-serving organizations hosted by America’s Warrior Partnership.

He says employers are eager to understand how their job descriptions, hiring managers, or their systems might exclude military veterans. “It's still a work in progress, but what I've seen is a lot more activation from employers to understand how they can create systems that allow them to engage and capture these outstanding workers who are differentiators,” says Dickman.
