This happens through maintaining distance with push/pull, or through leg entanglements. Often in the effort to keep you away, the guard player leaves their legs exposed, allowing you to enter into attacks on the legs. Here we start from a very important passing position, the split squat, and advance in stages to the double scoop. When they counter the pressure from the stack, you can create an angle and spin directly into the inside sankaku position, ready to attack.
