On August 27, 2022 I went on a whale watching trip with Condor Express Whale Watching in Santa Barbara California. Despite the foggy conditions, we were able to see thousands of long-beaked common dolphins and short-beaked common dolphins. We also encountered humpback whale CRC-17996 "Stevie Bubbles". Additionally we spotted harbor seals, pelicans, California sea lions, and northern elephant seals. The lack of wind allowed us to make it to Cuyler Harbor on San Miguel Island to see the beaches, rock formations, and hauled out elephant seals.
