Very few people are successful at bottle feeding newborn rabbits. Even the most skilled wildlife rehabber will tell you that, generally, even attempting to bottle feed is not recommended unless there is just NO other option. MOST of the time, bottle fed newborns die. If fostering babies with another rabbit mom is possible, that is ALWAYS a better choice. I try to breed at least two does at the same time so that fostering IS an option if something like this were to happen. Unfortunately, that breeding plan went awry, so I had no other does to try to use as foster moms.
