The Maserati MC20 Cielo is no race car, and that's a good thing. It's fast, for sure, with a 621 HP twin-turbo V6, dual-clutch gearbox, and a rigid carbon tub. But unlike so many wannabe track-star supercars, the MC20, particularly in top-down "Cielo" convertible trim is set up to be used everyday, and at that, it excels. It has a beautiful ride, plenty of space, it's stunningly beautiful and has well-thought-out controls. But it also has some interesting behaviors that remind you that yes, this is still a truly Italian car with its own charms. Matt Farah and Zack Klapman hit the canyons to explore.
Maserati provided the vehicle, insurance, and a tank of fuel for this review.
