Tesla has completed its ~$240M all-stock acquisition of Maxwell Technologies! This could have huge implications for the company's battery technology roadmap. Maxwell's Dry Battery Electrodes offer a cheaper, more efficient and more sustainable way to produce lithium-ion cells. This means cheaper EVs, with more range! According to my research, this will put Tesla EVEN FURTHER ahead in battery technology, compared to legacy OEMs. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
