Risée's Barbados-based photography company reflects her background in art, photojournalism, and cosmetics, as well as a longstanding preoccupation with personal style. She photographs a weekly column for the local newspaper, Girl Next Door, that seeks to highlight the beauty in a different everywoman every week. Currently, she emphasizes her interest in bringing a new artistic and stylistic sensibility to Barbadian wedding photography
