In contrast to Aang’s pacifist nature, the Avatar creators imagined that his successor could be a tough, headstrong Water Tribe girl who would never back down from a fight. It’s no wonder why it’s so fun to watch this Avatar come to life onscreen like the athletes who inspired her!
