How good is Turkish Airlines after all? It's one of the largest airlines in the world, serving the most destinations of any airline right now. Let's check it out.
So after Sam Chui's visit to the Turkish Airlines lounge and his flight to New York from Istanbul, I was amazed at how great Turkish Airlines flights and their main lounge at Istanbul Ataturk Airport was. As a result, I decided to give it a try because I wanted to see how good Turkish Airlines was. I ended up taking a short flight to Athens on a long haul aircraft to experience their lie-flat seats.
The good thing was the business class cabin being almost empty, and that the food on a 1 hour flight was great. The service was decent but not overbearing (i.e. they don't go out of their way to help you unless if you ask for it). Their level of English fluency is actually very good compared to the rest of Turkey.
The bad thing was that there was no direct aisle access, meaning you have to climb over someone to go to the bathroom. The TV screen was quite far off from the seat (hope this will be rectified soon).
Hope you all enjoy, and make sure you subscribe and give this video a thumbs up :D
