The world is full of yang, so take some time to catch some yin with ONE FULL HOUR of yin yoga. This yin yoga routine will help you relax and regenerate. Yin yoga is all about the art of LETTING GO, gentle and passive, and we hold the yoga poses for 3-5 minutes. This allows your connective tissues BETWEEN the muscles to open up and stretch. Yin yoga is great for beginners easing into yoga, for restorative purposes, and also for intermediate and advanced yogis looking to complement their other activities. Always remember to breathe in something positive and exhale that which doesn't serve you.
What you will need: Blocks or books, pillows or bolsters, blankets or towels, straps, and water and a mat.
Find a space away from distractions, and give yourself the gift of time devoted to yourself. I hope this helps you and would love to hear your feedback.
Love & Light,
Ali
P.S. I actually had the FLU when I made this video. I had been home for a few days, barely able to eat or drink water. This was the best thing I could do for my body, mind, and spirit to help me recuperate. I hope you feel re-energized as well!
