It is important to work your lower abs when trying to build a well rounded set of abs. You can’t just do the same old exercises all the time, you need specific exercises that will target your lower abs. Your lower abs are the hardest part to build, no matter what your age is. That is why I am going to give you 3 exercises to target your lower abs. Now, no matter how many times you do these exercises, you need to prioritize your nutrition to lose belly fat. That way, when you lose the fat, you will have a set of abs ready to show. Let’s get started with the exercises to target your lower abs.
Exercise #1: REVERSE CRUNCH. Instead of curling your body and going down towards your waist, you are going to bring your knees to your chest. Keep your feet elevated off the ground for the entire exercise, to keep tension on your core.
Exercise #2: BICYCLE CROSS CRUNCH. You are going to do a normal bicycle crunch, except you are going to bring your knee to your opposite elbow. You can go as fast you would like, just make sure you are focusing on contracting and squeezing your lower abs.
Exercise #3: BANDED CRUNCH. You can do this standing or on your knees, just make sure you are using a high anchor point or using a cable machine at the gym. Hold the handles by your head then you are going to crunch your core. Focus on contracting your core, and bring your elbows down to your knees.
