Well... for a very tiny country, the Irish People sure immigrated ALL over the United States of America, didn't we?!

Todays video is super interesting as it features a state by state look at how immigration to America has changed over time throughout the years, from 1850 on. The Immigration History of the United States.

Germany, the Civil War and immigrant labor, resulted in a near doubling of the foreign born population in a decade. And of course, Mexico and the British immigrants headed to the Southwest.

How could I forget the Chinese and Asian immigrants ? I don't know, but I almost did.and while I knew there were a huge amount of Italian immigrants and descendants in america today, I was very surprised to hear about the Norwegians and Swedes who landed inSouth Dakota, Minnesota and Louisiana.

The Russians made a big impact on Russian born immigrants who had fled Europe to escape the horrors of World War I and it continues right up to today. But what country has the largest population of American immigrants today in 2022?
